Welcome to JBL Taxi, a service operated by JBL Infra ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the JBL Taxi platform, website at jbltaxi.com, and related services.
By accessing or using JBL Taxi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
"Platform" refers to the JBL Taxi website, mobile application, and all related services.
"Agent" refers to any travel agent, tour operator, OTA, or individual who posts booking requests on the platform.
"Driver" refers to any individual taxi owner, driver, or fleet operator who accepts bookings on the platform.
"User" refers to any person or entity accessing or using the platform, including both Agents and Drivers.
2. Eligibility
By using JBL Taxi, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- You are not located in a jurisdiction where use of our services is prohibited
- All information provided during registration is accurate and complete
3. Account Registration
Users must create an account to use the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Driver Verification & KYC
All drivers must complete KYC verification by submitting valid:
- Driving Licence (DL)
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
- Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, or PAN)
JBL Infra reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any driver who fails verification or provides fraudulent documentation.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Driver/Agent Subscription
Drivers/Agent pay a flat monthly subscription fee to access and accept bookings. The subscription fee is non-refundable and subject to change with prior notice.
Agent Usage
Agents can post standard bookings free of charge. Priority or verified bookings may incur a nominal fee. JBL Taxi does not charge commission on ride earnings.
Payment Processing
All subscription payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. By subscribing, you agree to the payment processor's terms. JBL Infra is not responsible for payment gateway errors or delays.
6. Platform Rules
- Users must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent bookings
- Drivers must not solicit agents outside the platform to avoid subscription fees
- Harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behaviour is strictly prohibited
- Users must comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws
- JBL Infra reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules
7. Limitation of Liability
JBL Taxi is a marketplace platform that connects Agents and Drivers. JBL Infra does not provide transportation services and is not a party to any agreement between Agents and Drivers. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- JBL Infra makes no warranties regarding the quality, safety, or legality of any rides
- JBL Infra is not liable for any disputes, losses, damages, or injuries arising from user interactions
- JBL Infra's total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JBL Infra, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the JBL Taxi platform, including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software, is the property of JBL Infra unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we deem harmful to the platform or its users. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
JBL Infra reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
